CODE OF CONDUCT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT
South Liverpool FC code of conduct allows our junior teams to develop in an environment that provides a platform for all players to maximise their potential.
It is vital that all coaches, parents and officials encourage players to understand the values of good sportsmanship. In order for players to understand the importance of good sportsmanship, all coaches, parents and officials should lead by example when demonstrating fairness, respect and discipline.
This code of conduct has been put in place to ensure that respect and good sportsmanship is upheld throughout South Liverpool FC junior teams.
By registering you confirm that as a parent you agree and are committed to behaving accordingly to the code of conduct.
As a parent/guardian, I/We will;

Demonstrate positive support to all players, regardless of ability, as well as coaches, officials and opponents. I/We agree to act responsibly at all times before, during and after training/matches, especially when in the presence of children.

I/We understand that at no time is there guaranteed number of minutes on the pitch during games. I/We understand that playing time is set by the manager or coaching staff and depends on the teams needs, players effort, commitment and dedication to not only matches, but training.

I/We and my child will treat team mates, opposition players, coaches, and officials with respect, regardless of race, sex, age or ability. Although I/We or my child may not always agree with decisions, we are committed to supporting good sportsmanship and will not engage in any disrespectful, discriminatory or rude behaviour with any player, parent, official or spectator. For example, taunting, refusing to shake hands or swearing.

I/We will ensure that my child arrives to training and matches at the scheduled timings. If for any reason this is not possible, I/We will notify the coach/manager.

I/We take full responsibility for any action that violates the code of conduct, including for my child. This includes financial responsibility for any penalty charges from the County FA.

I/We understand that officials oversee all games and their decisions are final. I/We will not protest an officials decision in an aggressive or abusive manner which may incite violence.

I/We will Stay behind any respect barriers or markings during training and matches.

I/We will never encourage or persuade an opposition player to transfer across to my child's team, or encourage any player on my child's team to join another team.
Social Media Conduct

I/We understand that no pictures or videos are to be taken during matches. This is in line with the conduct by the FA.

I/We will not post any pictures of any opposition team players without consent.

I/We will not post any negative comments regarding South Liverpool FC, coaches, managers, team mates, officials or opposition players/teams.

I/We agree to remove any posts online at the request of club officials. This includes managers, coaches and other officials.
If you are found guilty of breaking the agreement in place you may be subject to disciplinary action.

Verbal warning issued by an official at South Liverpool FC.

Written warning issued by an official at South Liverpool FC.

Suspension or removal from training or matches issued by South Liverpool FC.

Removal from South Liverpool FC.

All incidents regarding safeguarding issues will be reported to the Club Welfare Officer and the County FA.

Any abusive behaviour will be reported to the Club Welfare Officer and the County FA.
In the event of suspension or removal from South Liverpool FC, no refund of signing-on fee will be made.
